			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Totally buying this for work. (<a href="http://store.xkcd.com/xkcd/#HeightPoster">link</a>) We love info-graphics here. And XKCD delivers the awesome.  I&#8217;m a big fan of large-scale graphics that are fun to look at and packed with data. Kind of like those cartooney maps you get at disneyland when you were a kid, that you spend weeks staring at after you got home. Edward Tufte calls these &#8220;<strong>mega graphics</strong>&#8220;&#8230; i call them &#8220;<strong>entertaining maps</strong>.&#8221;</p>
<p style="text-align: left;">One of my all-time favorites is the &#8220;Online Communities Map.&#8221; (<a href="http://store.xkcd.com/xkcd/#OnlineCommunitiesPoster">link</a>) The first time i saw it I just stood there in awe for 20 minutes or so. <a href="http://xkcd.com/482/"><img class="size-full wp-image-1741 aligncenter" title="height" src="http://www.seventhswami.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/06/height.png" alt="" width="500" height="2169" /></a></p>
