Ghosts EP (Available NOW!)
| “2010 was a difficult year for many of us. ‘Ghosts’ is a tribute to all of the loose ends that continue to haunt us, to the past that we struggle to let go of, and to the hope that we can all manage to overcome… by mastering the elusive art of letting go.” ~ Swami |

‘Ghosts’ by SeventhSwami is as uplifting and beautiful as it is quirky, funky and heart-wrenching. It takes a listener through the gentle depths of ‘I Can Fix Things’, to the melancholy, thoughtful and organic journeys of ‘Lucidity’ & ‘Memories’ into a playful and groovy almost future-garage sounding ‘Subterfuge’ and ends with the epic tear-jerking melodic anthem, ‘The Art Of Letting Go’. This time SeventhSwami leaves no stone unturned and delivers a package that is bound to move you. |

Stereogum Presents… Bjork, Radiohead, and REM Tribute Albums
This has been a great day for free music. I stumbled upon these tribute albums this morning and have been reveling in gorgeous sounds for hours now. Standout tracks for me: “, “Possibly Maybe”, “I Miss You” and “Headphones” on the Björk tribute… “Exit Music (for a film)”, “Karma Police”, and “Fitter Happier” on the Radiohead tribute… and I haven’t even gotten to the REM one yet… but i have high hopes after this. Seriously some of the best covers i’ve ever heard.

Interesting Art
So Emily and I were at Ohmega Salvage in Berkeley recently, and we saw this amazing and bizarre piece of artwork for sale…
Mounted in a wooden box, this curious diorama was made of wood, mechanical parts (possibly from a clock?) rocks, dried flowers and clay… with stamped metal numbers and letters at the bottom… and most interesting of all… a metal space ship firing a bunch of arrows at some kind of animal.
This psychedelic crafts project was just a bit too expensive for me to justify purchasing… but for some reason i really wanted to.
