    interesting…
I love it that his first example of multitasking is driving off the road while trying to find nudie pix on his cell phone.

    Some Thoughts
I grew up on an island. No mall, one movie at the movie theater, 12 TV channels (10 of them sucked), no internet until I was 15-ish. And I am one of the only people I know who can be bored without being frustrated by it! I get so focused when I read that often my name is the only thing that will break me out. I like sitting and staring.

I can’t talk on my cell phone and walk at the same time.

And I read this article while I was supposed to be working.

    Ironic!

there’s some good stuff in there… but it’s heavy with masturbatory prose and could have gotten the point across in one page rather than three numbingly long ones.

Interesting read though, and I do feel like I’ve been dumbed down over the years by routinely splitting my concentration to multiple tasks and plain old information overload.
