Holy Sheep Balls Batman
Well, so much for the performing musician, or learning to play your instrument correctly. The interesting part will be seeing how far producers use tools like this to alter a recorded performance and in doing so will eventually risk making a tune that a performer can no longer play.

“Just because it doesn’t work in theory, doesn’t mean it can’t work in reality” I like the way that guy thinks!
Really, the application that most people will use this for will be remixing current media. As far as creating new and original music it doesn’t offer any more tools than every other plugin.
What got me exited though was what he said about what the next generation will be able to do as far as having tracks feed off of each other like jazz musicians. I imagine some sort of super-arpeggiator that can free form solo off of another instrument in any key, in real time.
Though, in the end… Jimi Hendrix could still kick its ass blindfolded, on one foot, playing with his teeth… :-p

the second i get this program it’s going to seem as if i’d been handed the original midi files for each and every audio sample on my hard drive… just unbelievable.
